Elegant Seagulls has been working with V.I.O., the leader in POV (point-of-view) video technology, since 2007. When V.I.O. decided to launch their new POV.HD we worked hand-in-hand with their marketing department to expand their overall look and feel. One of the key new fixtures was the incorporation of textures to represent the key features of the product.
The new V.I.O. website is a blend of modern aesthetics, textural elements and usability designed to appeal to professional production companies, the military and prosumer athletes. When creating the site there was a need to better showcase their products, news, and videos with room for future growth and expansion.
The POV.HD image and texture concept was brainstormed by the V.I.O. marketing department and Elegant Seagulls (shot by Swanson Studio) to represent the key features of the product including its waterproof, dustproof, and rugged characteristics. These textures also represent a variety of the activities V.I.O.'s consumers take part in while using the camera, making the image appealing to many audiences.
To continue V.I.O.'s new look and feel, we created a sales sheet to be used at trade shows and press events. The sales sheet outlines the key features of the POV.HD on the front with the detailed specs on the back. Instead of creating multiple sales sheets for specific events we developed one all-encompassing document.
This package is not part of the new POV.HD line but is a great example of how we expanded on V.I.O.'s existing brand standards. This box was designed for the POV.1.5M, geared to the actions sports Moto market.
