Ben's passion for snowboarding and design led him to Plymouth State University, NH (a place where he could conveniently do both). He graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and in 2005 he moved back to his hometown of Marquette, MI and created Elegant Seagulls. Starting as a one-man operation, Elegant Seagulls quickly grew with a reputation for clean modern websites. Ben now acts as creative director and oversees all things design. When not working, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, reading, and surfing.

Gene was the first addition to the Elegant Seagulls team and his programming wizardry and ever-growing design talents have made him an integral member of the flock. With a Network Computing major and an Art & Design minor from Northern Michigan University, Gene has honed his development skills, earning him the title of WordPress Master. If Gene is not coding or sleeping, (and it's sometime between November and April), he is probably lapping the big jump line at Marquette Mountain.

Chad joined Elegant in 2010 and has shown dedication to the company since day one. After graduating from Northern Michigan University, Chad started working for Marquette's local newspaper, The Mining Journal, as their creative print designer. After freelancing for over a year Elegant Seagulls finally snatched him up. His work ethic and strong knowledge of layout helped bring the company to another level.
